The Pocket Soup Radio Experience





Here's the deal....
The University of Waterloo student body used to fund the radio station of 100.3 SoundFM... then, a childish dispute and a birage of idiocy within the student council caused a referendum on whether the station should be kept.... we were narrowly voted down by 1%, and only 18% of these so-called intellectuals in the student body voted in the online referendum..... selfishly and small-mindedly, they decided they didn't want a $2.50 refundable increase on their yearly student fees to keep the station alive.... this was almost the death of SoundFM, but, tireless efforts from an amazing staff kept the station alive.... and although the station is still broadcasting 24 hours a day, it is still tough times for the little indie radio station.... i personally believe it is an extremely important station and the only station in the city of waterloo that is a good source of alternative news, music, and more....

Now, where does The Pocket Soup Radio Experience fit into all of this? .... well, without the university student's funding, the station has required each programmer to pay $50 a month to stay on the air.... and, as an independent musician, i am not made of money and have recently had no choice but to give up the show.....

The University of Waterloo student body, through their ignorance, selfishness, and pure stupidity, have killed The Pocket Soup Radio Experience.... thank you to all my loyal listeners who i have thoroughly enjoyed DJing for all these years..... and a big giant middle finger is given to the University of Waterloo student body fucktards, whose decision has shown the city of Waterloo that they are not as intelligent as they wish to be perceived.....
